MASON RAMSEY – BIOGRAPHICAL
INFORMATION
Born into a
military family,
After
graduation, the family drove down the

attending college, Mason began working in the broadcasting industry, becoming
an evening radio personality for a local country radio station, WFSH.
Mason’s career
evolved into radio and TV production as a writer, producer and talent in voice
over and on-camera work, while developing a sales persona as a business
entrepreneur and promoter.

While living
in Guam, Mason not only worked as an on-air talent for Hit Radio 100 and KUAM,
he also worked as a Television host and produced numerous commercials, acting
as a writer, talent, producer, director, photographer. As a certified scuba diver, other
business interest included contracts with five local dive companies, photographing
clients above and underwater.
Mason’s outgoing persona developed a natural sales ability in
representing numerous affiliations with local businesses, including
Winchell’s Donuts, The Greyhound Kennel Club, Budweiser and other
business developing advertising and promotional campaigns, including
representing the South Pacific’s largest shopping mall, Micronesia Mall,
where he still does commercial voice-overs to this day.
Returning to
the United States in 1989 – Mason Eventually settled in
Tampa, Florida where he free lanced commercial voice-overs and worked as a news
assignment editor for a television station WTVT-Channel 13 in the fox
network.

Mason worked in radio, television and advertising in

Mason’s first book is also based on the events surrounding
the murder of his younger sister Donna, but remains unpublished. Another Novel, “The Mile High
Murders” has been mostly completed, but also remains unpublished.
Mason moved to
In 1998 Mason completely dropped from the broadcasting industry,
concentrating on working with the development of publishing his work and
furniture sales, until August 2003 when he began doing the weekend over nights
for KXKL-KOOL 105FM as an on-air talent.
It was in August 2004 that Mason began working with the
Jones Radio Network after being heard by the Operations Manager of the Good
Time Oldie Network, JJ McKay who tapped Mason for the hosting duties of America’s
Coast to Coast Oldies Request Show (Saturday Night at the Oldies) and Juke
Box Sunday Night – The Classic Roots o Rock and Roll, a doo-wop
program featuring the 50s and early 60s oldies. Both shows are five hours long and very
listener interactive, and are heard Nationwide on approximately 130 affiliate
stations within the network.
Mason received strong ratings from being on the air with the Jones
Radio Network, and fantastic reviews as a writer.
Mason is hoping to develop his natural abilities as a talent,
producer and director into a viable commodity for

mantra is; “Life is the best experience, and experience is the best
teacher,” ‘I just wish someone would give me the diploma!’
